Position Summary:

Account for corporate departments and transactions, account for complex US GAAP and IFRS areas, and assist with external financial reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Account for unusual or complex transactions such as stock compensation, debt and equity transactions, severance, exit and disposal activities, acquisitions, or and divestitures.
  • Perform month-end consolidation and intercompany elimination processes.
  • Account for China joint venture.
  • Coordinate audits and quarterly reviews with external audit firm.
  • Assist with goodwill and asset impairment tests.
  • Prepare PP&E rollforward.
  • Prepare statement of cash flows.
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements and MD&A.
  • Convert US GAAP financial statements to IFRS.
  • Key process owner for monitoring internal controls and policies in anticipation of SOX 404 compliance.
  • Assist with technical accounting research and the implementation of new accounting guidance.
  • Assist with implementation of new leasing standard.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Educational and Other Requirements:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience required.
  • Experience with an SEC registrant strongly preferred.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Sensitive to confidential information.
  • Must work independently and as a member of team.
