Position Summary:

Responsible for safely and efficiently operating and maintaining all assigned equipment including a wireline truck, servicing mechanical devices, building logging cable heads, tool maintenance and rigging up/down well site equipment in cased-hole oil and gas operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operation and maintenance of assigned equipment as directed by supervisory staff.
  • Adheres to all well service health, safety and environmental regulations.
  • Drives equipment to and from locations as required once all company and federal regulations are satisfied including commercial driver license.
  • Maintains and submits timely daily driver log reports, equipment/truck reports as well as Individual Vehicle Driver’s Record (IVDRs), and on occasion timesheets for out of town travel.
  • Assist with loading perforation guns.
  • Rig up and rig down truck and crane jobs.
  • Cleans and maintains wireline trucks and other equipment as required.
  • Inspects vehicles, mechanized devices and equipment, repairs and maintains machinery and communicates any component issues to management.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Educational and Other Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Class A or B CDL license required with air brake and Hazmat endorsements; maintains license with endorsements in good standing as required.
  • Complete and abide by all Safety Training and other provided training.
  • Appropriate communication skills for coordination of the well service activities with crew members and supervisory staff.
  • Travel to job location as required.
  • Sensitive to confidential information.
  • Must work independently and as a member of team.
