Description/Requirements

Responsible for training field operation employees on Basic Equipment Operator job tasks standards, safety and equipment operation procedures. Trains and makes recommendations for Equipment Operator progression. Completes Task Performance Evaluations and On the Job (OJT) checklists for the Equipment Operator (EO) progression program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Instructs district employees on basic equipment operator skills to include; work policies, job procedures, and proper rig up standards.
  • Instructs district employees on basic equipment maintenance procedures.
  • Performs assessments for the EO progression program as assigned. 
  • Assess EO job task competencies to ensure all relevant company SOP standards are met.
  • Recommends jobsite equipment progressions to Operations Trainer Lead.
  • Coordinates, communicates, and receives guidance from Operations Trainer Lead and Corporate Training Leadership. Ensures training complies with all relevant company Training processes, HSE procedures and OSHA Safety policies.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Educational and Other Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Driver’s and CDL license required
  • 2-3 years’ experience as a qualified Equipment Operator preferred
  • Successful completion of Task Performance Assessor training
  • Must be current on all annual Safety and company Compliance training
  • Proficiency with  Microsoft Office preferred
  • Travel to job location as required
  • Sensitive to confidential information
  • Must work independently and as a member of team
