Position Summary: The Treasury Associate is responsible for completing the daily activities of the Treasury Department including, but not limited to reviewing online banking information, initiating wires, managing credit card programs and assisting Accounts Receivable with invoice submissions. The Treasury Associate serves as support to Manager of Treasury.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoots credit card and fuel card issues for cardholders
  • Manages full cycle expense reporting process in CCER
  • Assists Accounts Receivable team with submission of customer invoices
  • Reviews cash accounts daily to make certain all transactions are recorded
  • Initiates domestic/international wires for multiple companies as needed
  • Verifies banking details with beneficiaries
  • Saves all wire transactions including any provided backup electronically for future reference by accounting department or auditors
  • Reconciles any positive pay exceptions as shown on banking websites
  • Make deposits and make entries for same plus process and make entries for lockbox deposits for some companies
  • Download monthly bank statements for distribution
  • Process credit card and fuel card orders timely and make changes to user profiles as needed including obtaining and recording proper authorization
  • Processes all emails and notifications from banks regarding credit card issues including notifying cardholder of any suspected fraudulent activity
  • Download various reports from expense reporting tool and fuel card system to be sent to different departments
  • Performs other related duties as required
  • Assists Manager of Treasury in preparation of daily cash position
  • Supports Manager of Treasury in all aspects of Department

Educational and Other Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At  least 5 years experience with a medium to large company
  • Requires an acute attention to detail
  • Positive customer service attitude
  • Strong ability to promote a cooperative environment at work to meet goals
  • Familiar with cash management procedures
  • High degree of integrity including ability to deal with sensitive or confidential information
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Must work independently and as a member of team

  • Able to read, speak and write English
  • Dependable, reliable and able to work in stressful situations
  • Ability to use sophisticated computer software programs to achieve job functions
  • Sitting – at desk or computer station, standing, walking, speaking, hearing – frequent
  • Bending/Stooping, twisting, lifting – occasional
  • Gripping, reaching, writing, fingering (data entry), handling (paper, files, etc) – frequent
  • Fine Motor Skills - typing, 10-key, ability to write for extended periods of time
  • Communication - phone communication, communication with personnel and banks including credit card companies
  • Seeing - able to see the computer screen.
  • Climbing - able to go up and down stairs
  • Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week unless otherwise directed by supervisor.
